By default, your employee portal operates on the subdomain sereda.ai. If you wish to connect your own domain, you can do so in just two steps:
1. Specify your domain name in the project settings.
2. Update your DNS records in the admin panel of your domain provider.
Specify your domain name in the project settings
To add your custom domain, go to the project settings and find the “Custom Domain” field. Enter your domain address (e.g., yourdomain.com) into this field. The domain address should not include “https://” or “www”.
After that, under this field, you will find the DNS records that need to be added in the admin panel of your domain provider.
Update your DNS records in the admin panel of your domain provider
You need to add two DNS records in the admin panel of your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) or DNS provider (Cloudflare, Netlify, etc.).
For the root domain, such as yourdomain.com, you need to add the following records:

Make sure to remove any old A or AAAA records for your root domain or old CNAME records for www in the DNS settings if your provider hasn’t done this automatically.
Make sure your domain points to sereda.ai
To ensure that your DNS settings are correct and your domain points to sereda.ai, check the domain connection status in the project settings.
DNS changes may take a few minutes or even longer if it’s a new domain. If the domain verification doesn’t work immediately, you can come back later and check the status again. If you still encounter issues with domain verification, contact your domain provider to ensure the records are set up correctly.
After a successful verification, you will see a “Connected” label next to your domain.

If you encounter any issues, please make sure you have done the following:
• Added the new DNS records in the admin panel of your domain provider
• Removed any old DNS records
• Waited up to 72 hours for the new settings to take effect

Is my employee portal only available on my custom domain?
By default, your employee portal is available on the subdomain sereda.ai. If you have connected a custom domain, it will also be accessible on that domain.
Can I connect more than one domain?
No, you cannot connect more than one domain. Only one custom domain is allowed per employee portal. If you need to connect a new domain, you must first remove the current one by clicking the “Remove Domain” button.
Is SSL enabled for my employee portal?
Yes, SSL is enabled by default for all portals. The SSL certificate generation usually takes about 5 minutes after you connect your domain.
